Transfer Chute
Wear Liners
HALDEN supplies custom CCO liner plates and ready-to-install liner kits for transfer chutes exposed to severe abrasion, impact and frequent maintenance.
The Real Cost
of Chute Wear
Transfer chute wear is rarely just a liner problem. It can cause shutdowns, material leakage, dust, unsafe maintenance and repeated replacement cost.
In abrasive bulk material handling systems, the highest wear often appears at impact points, sliding zones, discharge areas and narrow transitions.
Material drop areas where particle velocity and impact angle accelerate liner damage.
High-abrasion flow paths where CCO liner plates are commonly selected.
Outlet zones that require stable liner fit and practical replacement planning.
Restricted geometry where localized wear and installation access must be reviewed.
Select Chute Liner
Material by Wear Zone
HALDEN recommends selecting chute liner material by wear zone. CCO liner plates are suitable for severe sliding abrasion.
Thicker backing, segmented liner kits or combined structures may be used where impact is stronger. Liners can be supplied with bolt holes, studs, countersunk holes, curved shapes and installation marks according to chute drawings.
Sliding Abrasion
Use CCO liner plate where abrasive material slides across chute surfaces.
Impact Zones
Review backing thickness, segmentation and combined structures for stronger impact.
Built for Abrasive
Transfer Points
HALDEN chute liners are designed for bulk material handling systems where abrasion, impact and maintenance access determine liner life and total operating cost.
Conveyor transfer chutes
Crusher feed chutes
Crusher discharge chutes
Hopper discharge liners
Bucket elevator inlet and outlet liners
Screen feed points
Cement, mining, aggregate, steel and power plant material handling systems
How to Select
Chute Liners
Consider the material type, particle size, chute angle, tonnage, impact height, moisture, temperature and installation method.
If liner replacement is difficult, ready-to-install kits can reduce maintenance time.
Supplied to Fit
Your Chute Drawings
HALDEN can cut, roll, drill, weld, stud and mark chute liners according to drawings. For large chutes, liner sets can be supplied in sections for easier installation.
For quote preparation, send chute drawings, liner dimensions, material handled, current liner life, installation method and photos of the worn area.
Send Your Chute
Liner Requirement
HALDEN reviews your chute drawings, wear location and operating conditions to recommend liner material, thickness, fabrication details and kit structure.
Confirm geometry, hole patterns, curved sections and installation marks.
Match CCO liner plates or combined structures to abrasion and impact conditions.
Transfer Chute Wear Liner Questions
What causes transfer chute liner wear?
Common causes include abrasive material flow, impact at material drop points, high tonnage, poor liner fit and unsuitable liner material.
Which material is suitable for transfer chute liners?
For severe sliding abrasion, CCO liner plate is commonly used. For stronger impact zones, the liner structure should be reviewed.
Can HALDEN supply liner kits?
Yes. HALDEN can supply liner kits with holes, studs, curved sections and installation marks.
What should I send for quotation?
Please send chute drawings, liner dimensions, material handled, current liner life, installation method and photos of the worn area.
