Tungsten Carbide
Wear Plate
Engineered overlay plate fused with tungsten carbide hardphase -- delivering extreme abrasion resistance, impact tolerance, and extended service life in cement, mining, power, and bulk-handling environments.
Engineered for
Severe Wear.
HALDEN Tungsten Carbide Wear Plate is manufactured by depositing a tungsten-carbide-rich hardphase layer onto a tough Q235 / Q345 / mild steel base via controlled welding overlay. The result is a metallurgically bonded composite plate combining a ductile load-bearing substrate with an extreme-hardness wear surface.
Each plate is inspected via spectrograph analysis, Rockwell hardness testing, and dry-sand rubber-wheel abrasion evaluation, in accordance with our ISO 9001 quality system.
Surface hardness up to 65 HRC delivers superior resistance against high-stress abrasion and three-body wear.
Tough steel substrate absorbs shock loads while the carbide layer resists cutting and gouging wear.
Plates can be cut, drilled, rolled, and welded -- enabling on-site fabrication of liners and chutes.
Typical 4-6× service life vs. AR400/AR500 plate, reducing changeout frequency and downtime.
